BEAU TOURMENT
You’re here a lot. The vision behind my sleeping eyes behold your face like lantern to shadow, but I know it’s you. Always been there, in the corner of my awakened eye. I see you clearly now, in front of me. Recognized for all that you are and will be. Do you see me too, darling? Or am I obscure to you? Am I crazy or do you feel this too? I see you every time I shut my eyes, together in a world to come. A future seen, a present felt. I miss a scent I’m yet to know and hands that haven’t held me, yet. I wonder if my mind plays tricks or does heaven strive to align polarities? Now that you visited my dreams, you never leave. Your feet are sunk deep into the depths of my subconscious. It is your home now, one that you will mould, with both our hands. I’ll see you again, and when I wake up, I’ll remember your face.
