• If you want to be a grocer, or a general, or a politician, or a judge, you will invariably become it; that is your punishment. If you never know what you want to be, if you live what some might call the dynamic life but what I will call the artistic life, if each day you are unsure of who you are and what you know you will never become anything, and that is your reward.”

ABOUT

Through photography, Tolú explores life and nouns through self experiences, showing how everything is connected & how all is as it should be.

Her innate urge to preserve time and prolong the moments in between, fuels her creativity. Tolú, through her work, aims to show beauty in simplicity, as she walks her audience through the lens of her eyes and mind.

Tolú has a certain focus on being able to document, to find depth & multiple meanings in the ordinary. She believes it is the consistent day to day that builds up momentum for eventful moments. Her goal isn’t just to photograph, it is also to communicate unsaid words of pauses in time.
